About Cobot Painter

Cobot Painter is Hirebotics' programmable coating system based on a FANUC CRX-10iA/L Paint collaborative arm with 55.82 inches of reach. Hirebotics supports Nordson powder equipment and Graco or Binks liquid-paint configurations. A portable stand allows the arm and coating hardware to be repositioned for batch work, while Beacon software manages jobs and the teaching handle records paths directly at the robot.

The current product is configured for stationary painting: the workpiece remains fixed while the arm follows its programmed coating trajectory. Hirebotics describes conveyor line tracking as a future capability, so it should not be assumed for deployed units. The system has listed hazardous-location certifications for specified regions, but a complete installation still depends on the chosen spray equipment, ventilation, booth design, material controls and site-specific safety assessment.

Timeline

Hirebotics adds conveyor line tracking and modular linear rail
2026-09-14 - Capability - Line Tracking lets Cobot Painter detect and coat parts while they continue moving, compensating for changes in conveyor speed through the Beacon no-code platform. The rail is available in five-foot increments or custom lengths for large workpieces and can support welding, cutting and painting systems. Hirebotics plans automated rail movement by the end of 2026; the initial release extends physical reach while preserving the existing Beacon workflow.
