About KK Series Single-Axis Robots
HIWIN's KK Series integrates a ballscrew, guideway and load-carrying slide block within a U-shaped steel rail. The rail acts as both a guidance element and a structural member, giving machine builders a compact axis that can be installed without assembling separate screw, bearing and guide components. AC servo and stepper-motor configurations are supported.
The family spans nominal widths from 30 to 130 mm, with rail lengths, ballscrew leads, accuracy grades and block arrangements selected by model. The official catalogue lists precision and normal grades, model-dependent repeatability and maximum speeds, and one- or two-block configurations. KK modules can operate as standalone positioning axes or combine into Cartesian systems for inspection, electronics assembly, dispensing and material-handling equipment. Load, stroke, speed and repeatability remain coupled to the selected model, lead, rail length, grade and mounting orientation.
