Automower 580 EPOS

Automower 580 EPOS is a commercial robotic mower for sports fields, facility grounds and other intensively managed turf. Husqvarna EPOS uses RTK-GNSS positioning with approximately two-centimetre accuracy to define virtual work areas and exclusion zones; an RS5 reference station is required. The mower can follow parallel patterns and is managed through Husqvarna Fleet Services over cellular or Bluetooth connections.

The machine covers up to two acres on a 24-hour sports-turf cycle or four acres on a standard 48-hour cycle. Its 80-watt cutting motor drives five pivoting blades across a 10.2-inch width, with electric height adjustment from 0.8 to 2.4 inches. A typical mowing cycle lasts 120 minutes and charging takes 55 minutes. Radar-assisted object detection, a rubberised bumper, IPX5 protection and operation on slopes up to 45% support unattended commercial use.
