About KUKA AMP

KUKA AMP is an automation-management software platform unveiled in March 2026 as KUKA's orchestration layer for physical-AI systems. The announced architecture is an open, composable API environment connecting industrial robots, autonomous mobile robots, fleets, work cells, software tools and digital services across factories, warehouses and commercial sites.

The platform is designed to follow automation from initial design and simulation through deployment, monitoring, optimization and continuous learning. KUKA describes a closed loop between the physical environment and its digital twin, using operational missions, tasks and exceptions to inform subsequent behavior. AMP is currently at announced-unveiling maturity.

2026-07-20 - Deployment - KUKA AMP is live at KTPO, initially coordinating autonomous mobile robots. The 335,000-square-foot facility operates 285 robots and more than 60,000 connected devices while producing over 300 vehicle bodies per day. The alpha deployment connects mobile robots, machines, software systems and data sources in a real production environment.
