About ReWalk 7 Personal Exoskeleton

ReWalk 7 is Lifeward's fitted personal exoskeleton for people with spinal cord injury. Powered hip and knee joints, sensors and a computer control system help an eligible user stand, walk, turn and negotiate specified stairs, curbs and mild slopes. A crutch-mounted controller selects modes and stops movement, while a smartwatch and mobile app support status, goals and usage tracking.

The system is configured to the individual and requires assessment, training and supervision by a specially certified companion under its labelled use. ReWalk 7 adds two customizable walking speeds, cloud connectivity and updated clinician controls. It received US FDA clearance and launched commercially in the United States in 2025, followed by CE marking; reimbursement and permitted use depend on jurisdiction and individual clinical circumstances.
