Mantis SafetyCore

Mantis SafetyCore is an embedded sensing and control architecture that gives robots awareness of nearby moving objects. Sensors built into the machine produce a three-dimensional view of its surroundings, and the control layer adjusts robot behaviour as people or objects approach. The architecture supplies protective reactions within the robot’s motion system.

Mantis uses SafetyCore in its MR-1 industrial robot and the dual-arm MR-X platform, linking the same sensing approach to different arm arrangements. The company is also working with partners on integration into other robots. SafetyCore is therefore supplied as underlying robot technology, alongside Mantis’s own complete machines.
