IDX

IDX combines a brushless DC motor, gearhead, feedback and EPOS4 positioning controller inside an IP65-rated industrial housing. The family uses 56- and 70-millimetre frame classes, with configurations spanning 180 to 750 watts and 12-to-60-volt supplies. Available fieldbus options and integrated motion control reduce the separate components needed inside a machine axis.

Output speed, torque, gearing and connector layout vary by configuration; selected catalogue variants reach 6,000 revolutions per minute or 3.167 newton-metres at the output. Integrators size the drive against load inertia, duty cycle, thermal limits and mechanical transmission, then connect it to the wider machine controller.
