Mesmer
About
About Mesmer
Mesmer is a humanoid robot that uses individually controlled facial mechanisms beneath a silicone skin to reproduce eye, mouth, brow, cheek and head movement. Cameras and microphones provide visual and audio input, while Engineered Arts' Tritium software coordinates expressions, gaze, speech and conversational applications.
Each robot is built as a custom character using three-dimensional scans, sculpted features, hair, skin finishing and application-specific clothing. Mesmer is deployed in museums, attractions, entertainment and public experiences where a recognisable humanlike character forms the physical interface for AI-driven interaction.
