About Starling 2 Max
Starling 2 Max combines a carbon-fibre airframe with ModalAI VOXL 2 compute, integrated PX4 flight control and a configurable camera suite. Visual-inertial odometry, time-of-flight sensing and onboard AI support obstacle avoidance, mapping and dead-reckoned navigation without GNSS.
Battery options provide up to approximately 55 minutes of flight, with around 500 grams of available customer payload. ROS, ROS 2 and ModalAI development tools expose perception and flight functions for autonomy research. The aircraft is NDAA compliant and delivered as a complete development platform.
