Mojave STOL
About
About Mojave STOL
Mojave STOL is GA-ASI’s expeditionary short-takeoff-and-landing UAS for armed reconnaissance, contested logistics and operations from austere sites. The 16-metre-wingspan aircraft has a 3,175-kilogram maximum takeoff weight, a 1,542-kilogram useful load and endurance above 25 hours. In the current data sheet, an ISR configuration takes off in 122 metres, while a twelve-Hellfire configuration requires 305 metres on a semi-improved runway.
The Rolls-Royce M250-powered aircraft reaches 140 knots and 25,000 feet, with satellite control supporting a 2,500-nautical-mile ferry range. Its open payload architecture can accommodate electro-optical and infrared sensing, synthetic-aperture radar, ground-moving-target indication, signals intelligence and communications relay. Carrier-deck demonstrations and use from dirt fields establish the exact STOL boundary; the profile does not treat every Predator-family expeditionary configuration as Mojave.
