About Monarch MK-V

Monarch MK-V is a driver-optional electric compact tractor that retains familiar farm interfaces while adding supervised autonomy. Its four-wheel-drive powertrain delivers 70 peak horsepower and 40 PTO horsepower, and the Category I/II three-point hitch connects to conventional mowing, tilling, under-row and feed-handling implements.

A roof-mounted camera array supplies all-around sensing for manual or automated work. WingspanAI handles mapping, alerts, reporting and fleet supervision, with one operator able to manage as many as eight tractors in Automate mode. Runtime can reach 14 hours depending on the job and implement, and an 80-amp charger replenishes the battery in roughly five to six hours. Commercial production began in 2022.

Timeline

Foxconn completes first Ohio-built Monarch MK-V tractors
2023-04-04 - Production Milestone - Foxconn completed the first five Monarch MK-V tractors at its Ohio production site for customer delivery. The milestone moved Monarch MK-V production from Livermore into Foxconn contract manufacturing. The tractors were built at Foxconn Ohio under the 2022 manufacturing agreement.

Monarch Tractor starts MK-V Founder Series production
2022-12-13 - Production Milestone - Monarch Tractor started production of the first MK-V Founder Series electric, driver-optional tractors. The first tractors came off the production line in Livermore, California. Constellation Brands was named as the first customer for the initial Founder Series units.

Foxconn signs contract manufacturing deal with Monarch Tractor
2022-08-09 - Partnership - The agreement covers MK-V equipment and battery-pack production at Foxconn's Ohio facility. The facility provides Monarch Tractor with a contract-manufacturing route for scaling MK-V output.
