About MONARCH Platform

MONARCH uses an independently articulated telescoping scope and sheath to travel through branching lung airways. The physician controls the system while a camera preserves live endoscopic vision and navigation software plans a route toward the selected target. Compatible biopsy tools pass through the working channel after the robotic bronchoscope reaches the intended airway location.

QUEST 3 received U.S. 510(k) clearance in August 2026 as the latest MONARCH software update. It adds current planning, navigation and targeting functions intended to account for CT-to-body divergence during a procedure. Imaging confirmation, sampling decisions and diagnosis remain part of the wider clinical workflow, so the platform’s verified role is controlled access and tool delivery during authorised bronchoscopy.
