About Aquanaut
Aquanaut is Nauticus Robotics' hybrid autonomous-underwater and remotely operated vehicle for subsea inspection and intervention. It is designed to travel without a conventional tether, use onboard autonomy for navigation and inspection, and transition to supervised manipulation when a task requires physical interaction.
Nauticus identifies Aquanaut as the first integration platform for its internally developed modular electric manipulator. A three-joint prototype entered functional and load testing in July 2026, with five- and seven-joint variants planned. That arm programme is still in development and does not by itself establish completed Aquanaut field integration.
