Exyn Nexys

About

About Exyn Nexys

Exyn Nexys combines LiDAR, cameras, inertial sensing and onboard processing in a removable mapping module that can be carried by hand or mounted on a backpack, vehicle, pole, aerial robot or terrestrial robot. Its SLAM stack generates three-dimensional maps without GPS or pre-existing infrastructure, and field processing provides real-time visualisation, georeferencing and colourised point clouds.

Exyn currently states survey-grade accuracy up to ±1 cm at one sigma and platform capture up to 1.92 million scan points per second. Its purchase comparison separately lists approximately 600,000 points/s for Nexys and 1.28 million points/s for Nexys Pro, so those variant sensor rates remain distinct from the broader processed capture claim. Optional aerial and ground autonomy licences add pilotless navigation, obstacle avoidance and exploration modes for approved robot integrations; those functions are not implied for the mapping-only package.

  • Exyn Nexys cuts Tüprag mine survey capture time from 40 minutes to five

2026-07-30 - Deployment - Tüprag reduced capture time per underground scan from approximately 40 minutes to approximately five minutes and now routinely completes five scans per shift. Deployment increased survey coverage by approximately 300% and reduced the measurement errors that had forced repeat scans. Tüprag is expanding Nexys use across its operations after the system mapped previously inaccessible areas and supported identification of additional recoverable ore.
