Guidance Expert W1

Guidance Expert W1 is Noetix Robotics’ wheeled bionic service robot for exhibitions, reception, public-service processing, education and hospital guidance. The 1.7-metre, 75-kilogram platform combines a 32-active-degree-of-freedom expressive head with two five-axis arms, dexterous hands and a differential-drive base. Cameras, microphones, speech generation and synchronized lip motion provide face-to-face interaction.

LiDAR, ultrasonic sensors, depth cameras and anti-fall sensors support autonomous indoor navigation and obstacle avoidance. The base reaches 1.2 metres per second, while the 32-amp-hour battery provides a stated six hours of full-load work. Each arm carries up to two kilograms within a roughly 600-millimetre hemispherical workspace. W1 is a wheeled service platform despite its highly humanlike upper body.
