SE40

SE40 is an unmanned surface vehicle for water-quality monitoring and automatic sampling in lakes, rivers and reservoirs. Its waterjet propulsion protects the drive from debris and vegetation, while collision avoidance and a pan-tilt-zoom camera support remote operation and live situational awareness.

OceanAlpha specifies a 1.6-by-0.7-metre hull, 44-kilogram operating weight with battery, 25-kilogram payload, eight-knot maximum speed and four hours of endurance at four knots. The onboard sampler carries four 1.8-litre bottles.
