Omnia Rotacaster Omni-Wheel Family

Omnia Rotacaster Omni-Wheel Family is a range of polymer omni-wheel components for multidirectional mobile bases and transfer systems. The 90, 127, 150 and 180-millimetre versions use an injection-moulded web structure with over-moulded rollers and no steel pins, inserts or seams; the wider family also includes 35 and 50-millimetre wheels. Non-marking polyurethane rollers provide the transverse motion around each wheel body.

Fixed wheel mounting keeps the load centre stable while allowing a platform to translate in any direction without caster swivel offset. Designers can combine multiple wheels to distribute load and reduce the housing space needed for manoeuvring. The same mechanism is used in robotic mobility, conveyor transfer and material-handling equipment where controlled lateral positioning is useful.
