About OnRobot Eyes
OnRobot Eyes captures object position, orientation and height through a 2.5D camera and integrated vision-processing workflow. One-image calibration establishes the work surface, while individual reference images teach the system to recognise parts. Colour and contour tools also support inspection and differentiation between visually similar components.
The camera can be mounted on the robot wrist or fixed above the work area. OnRobot’s software passes detected coordinates directly into supported robot and gripper applications, reducing separate vision programming. Automatic landmark recognition allows the work frame to move with carts or mobile installations. Eyes is commercially deployed for unsorted picking, stacking, machine loading, sorting and visual quality checks.
