About MG10 Magnetic Gripper
MG10 uses an electrically controlled permanent-magnet mechanism to grip ferromagnetic sheets, blanks and components. Programmable magnetic strength supports workpieces with different masses and contact areas, while integrated proximity and grip-detection functions confirm part presence. Protective pads and shaped fingertips extend the tool across flat, cylindrical and spherical metal parts.
The gripper connects through OnRobot’s common mechanical and software interface and supports major collaborative and industrial robot brands. Operators configure magnetic force and release commands from the robot program without adding compressed-air equipment. Typical cells include press tending, loading and unloading, assembly, sheet handling and transfer of components with perforated, uneven or oil-contaminated surfaces.
