About OTTO 1500
OTTO 1500 is a heavy-duty autonomous mobile robot for moving pallet-scale loads inside factories and warehouses. It carries up to 1,900 kg and travels at up to 2 m/s, using differential drive, two corner lidars and forward- and rear-facing 3D cameras to navigate dynamic industrial spaces. Its flat top accepts carts, conveyors, lifts and other attachments matched to the material workflow.
The robot operates through OTTO Fleet Manager, which assigns missions and coordinates traffic across single- and mixed-model fleets. OTTO states a runtime of up to 10 hours from 90% to 10% charge for the current product configuration, with actual endurance dependent on load, route and operating conditions. The model is commercially offered by OTTO by Rockwell Automation and has been used for heavy material movement since the first-generation OTTO 1500 launched in 2015.
