About

About Prometheus

Prometheus converts mission requirements such as payload, range, endurance and launch method into an automatically generated aircraft design. Its models size the airframe, propulsion and energy system and predict performance before producing manufacturing files, bills of materials and build instructions.

The resulting parts are intended for local additive manufacture and rapid assembly with standard electronics and propulsion components. Operators can change mission inputs and regenerate the design for a new task through the software workflow. Titan Dynamics states that designs can move from definition to flight in under 24 hours and that predicted performance exceeds 95% accuracy in supported configurations.

Timeline

  • Titan Dynamics' Prometheus aircraft auto-generation software is assessed Awardable on the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace

2026-03-10 - Award - Titan Dynamics announced that Prometheus was assessed Awardable on the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace by the Department of Defense Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office. The company said Prometheus automatically generated a manufacturable fixed-wing sUAS design from mission requirements in less than seven hours during its demonstration. The award publicly validates Titan's software-defined aircraft-generation approach for defence procurement pathways, not just internal R&D.

Context

Market context

Software-defined aircraft generation: automatically produces manufacturable fixed-wing sUAS designs from mission requirements, demonstrated for defence procurement pathways including Tradewinds.

  • Target environment: Robot developer workflows, simulation environments, operations centers and autonomy stacks that need software rather than new robot hardware.
  • Workflow context: Robot control, mission planning, simulation, autonomy coordination, fleet operation and developer integration.
  • Customer context: Robot developers, operators, integrators and autonomy teams building or coordinating robotic systems.
  • Deployment model: Prototype or development-stage product with public positioning and limited deployment proof.
  • Commercial maturity: Publicly visible but still early, with maturity tied to demos, pilots and later customer evidence.
  • Adoption constraints: Adoption depends on integration effort, hardware compatibility, latency, safety validation, data quality and operator trust.
  • Market position: Prometheus sits in the robot software layer, shaping how robots are controlled, coordinated or trained.
  • Adjacent products: NVIDIA Isaac, Project GR00T, OverDrive, Hivemind
