Robo-C2
About
About Robo-C2
Robo-C2 is Promobot's stationary anthropomorphic service robot with an articulated face, head, neck and upper body. Cameras, microphones and speech software support recognition and conversation, while facial actuators produce expressions matched to dialogue. The robot was configured for desks, exhibitions, museums, banks, education and reception areas.
Promobot offered configurable appearance, voice, language and conversational content, with venue information and external-service connections. Mechanical facial movement enabled more than 600 expressions, allowing the robot to act as a visitor assistant or a recognisable character. Its customer-facing role focused on greeting people, answering questions and presenting information. Promobot has ended the Robo-C humanoid project and no longer accepts new applications; Robo-C2 is a historical product.
