About Pelican Spray

Pelican Spray is a fixed-wing electric aircraft developed for autonomous crop-protection work over large fields. The first-generation platform carried 300 litres of liquid and used a spray system with a stated 20-metre swath. Autonomous flight and remote supervision reduced the need for a pilot in the aircraft while retaining a field operator responsible for mission planning and oversight.

The airframe was designed as a ready-to-fly agricultural system, combining propulsion, navigation and spray equipment in one aircraft. Its fixed-wing configuration addressed broad-acre coverage that would be inefficient for small multirotor sprayers. Pyka’s current product material centres on Pelican 2, so this record is retained as the earlier Pelican Spray generation and is not merged with its successor.
