About RobotBrain
RobotBrain is Space Data’s software platform for connecting robot deployment, operations and learning with its SpaceBrain simulation environment. It transfers virtually tested device selections, layouts, control settings and safety conditions to field systems, then returns operating logs to update the virtual environment. A common data model links time, location, equipment, robots and tasks, while APIs connect existing warehouse, production and facilities systems.
The offering covers deployment planning, multi-vendor fleet optimisation, synthetic training data and operator training. It targets factories, warehouses, construction sites, facilities and outdoor infrastructure, with staged virtual trials and on-site verification before expansion. Space Data began offering RobotBrain in October 2026 through direct proposals and partner OEM arrangements. Its concept catalogue illustrates these workflows using simulation and scripted visualisations; operational changes in the proposed learning loop require human approval.

Timeline
- Space Data publishes five physics experiments for drone, humanoid, quadruped and arm control
2026-10-15 - Demonstration - The demonstrations vary payload assumptions, floor friction, terrain, wind or positional error to explain success and failure through physics calculations. ContactLab compares force-guided search with position-only insertion; CarryLab separates the actual load from the weight communicated to the robot. The simulations follow nine physics demonstrations released on October 14 and seven robot-planning demonstrations released on October 8.
Source - Space Data publishes nine RobotBrain physics simulation demos
2026-10-14 - Demonstration - The scenarios cover hand-offs, suction transport, tipping, door opening, standing up, packing, deformable materials, granular handling and cart pushing. Comparisons vary conditions such as friction, payload distribution, timing, joint torque and sensing assumptions. Several humanoid examples use a G1 appearance with Space Data’s own simplified physics model.
Source - Space Data demonstrates same-day warehouse reconstruction for RobotBrain simulation
2026-10-09 - Demonstration - The reconstructed warehouse contains 119 modelled objects and 239 collision geometries covering floors, columns, walls and stored goods. The environment supports simulated AMR and forklift movement, LiDAR sensing, material handling and multi-robot route checks before deployment. Surfaces inferred from unseen areas are recorded separately so users can distinguish measured geometry from estimated reconstruction.
Source - Space Data releases seven RobotBrain concept demos for robot planning
2026-10-08 - Demonstration - Examples cover sensor blind spots, mixed-fleet sizing, elevator coordination, inspection routing and synthetic training data. Other scenarios assess remote-operator responses and robot reachability during the first 72 hours after a disaster. All demos use fictional sample data; they contain no live sensor or physical-robot integration.
Source - Space Data launches RobotBrain for multi-vendor robot deployment and learning
2026-10-01 - Product Launch - RobotBrain passes tested configurations to physical robots and returns field measurements to simulation. Its four uses cover predeployment validation, operational optimisation, learning data and operator training. Overnight field-data processing generates improvement proposals that require human approval.
