RoboTire Automated Tire-Changing System

RoboTire is an automated vehicle-service system that uses multiple industrial robot arms and purpose-built tooling around a lift bay to remove and reinstall road wheels. Machine vision and controlled tool paths support repeatable lug-nut and wheel handling while trained staff supervise the bay and perform the service steps that remain outside the robot cell.

The system is deployed as a complete tire-changing installation, including safety controls, vehicle positioning and software that coordinates the arms. Its public demonstrations show production hardware working on passenger vehicles, but configuration and cycle time vary with the site and service process. This profile keeps the scope to wheel removal and installation and does not imply that the robot independently performs balancing, alignment or tire mounting unless separately evidenced.
