About RB-ELI
RB-ELI is an indoor autonomous shopping cart that follows a shopper, guides them to selected products and supports barcode-based checkout through its onboard screen. Robotnik lists voice-recognition and obstacle-sensing functions, a five-metre person-tracking distance and an 80 kg payload for carrying goods during a store visit.
The omnidirectional platform weighs 140 kg, is limited to 1.25 m/s in operation and runs for up to six hours, with recharge specified at under two hours. Its interfaces include Wi-Fi, USB and Ethernet on an Intel i7 controller with an open ROS architecture.
