About SharpShooter
SharpShooter uses high-intensity lighting and computer vision to detect and track individual plants while the implement moves through the field. Independently aimed nozzles apply small quantities of herbicide, fertiliser, growth regulator or other material to selected targets across the field.
The system supports weeding, thinning and crop-specific treatment at rates reaching approximately seven acres per hour. Operators configure the application through Verdant software and receive treatment maps and operating records after each pass. Quick-change modules, washdown construction and over-the-air updates support commercial field use, while the Sabanto integration adds autonomous tractor operation to the plant-level application workflow.
