About soma one
soma one is a mobile bimanual research robot built around two six-degree-of-freedom arms and a three-wheel omnidirectional base. Each arm has 620 millimetres of reach and a rated 1.5-kilogram payload. An electric lift column changes the working height so researchers can collect demonstrations and test manipulation policies across different work surfaces.
The robot connects to SOMA Robotics' soda OS for teleoperation, data capture and control at up to 500 hertz. It is sold as a complete research platform for embodied-AI laboratories, with United States delivery quoted at four to six weeks when the product line launched in September 2026.
