Typhoon is Splash Industries' 11-foot autonomous surface vessel for logistics and patrol missions. Its autonomy software handles route execution and collision avoidance, while the vessel accepts modular cargo and sensor payloads.
At RIMPAC 2026, a Typhoon delivered parts into USS Essex's well deck while the ship was underway off Hawaii. The Naval Postgraduate School's CAMRE programme and FLEETWERX oversaw the trial, demonstrating ship-to-vessel resupply with no crew aboard the small craft.
