Swan is SquareMind’s robotic system for full-body dermoscopy. It automates skin-image capture and pairs the resulting skin map with software that supports change detection. The system is designed for dermatology examinations, with the scanner moving around a standing patient.

- SquareMind raises $18 million to launch Swan skin-imaging robot
2026-04-28 - Funding - SquareMind raised $18 million, including previously undisclosed pre-Series A financing, to bring Swan to market. Sonder Capital led the round, with Deeptech 2030 Fund, Bpifrance, Adamed Technology, Calm/Storm Ventures and Teampact Ventures participating. Swan is a robotic full-body dermoscopy system for standardized imaging, lesion mapping and AI-assisted longitudinal review.

2022-06-09 - Award - SquareMind's SWAN project received backing through the European Innovation Council Accelerator blended-finance programme. The project focused on scaling full-body imaging and dermatology automation for earlier skin-cancer detection. CORDIS lists the grant agreement signature on 9 June 2022 and the project period from July 2022 through December 2024.
