About HD2-S Doberman
SuperDroid Robots’ HD2-S Doberman is a remotely operated tracked vehicle for hazardous-area observation, room clearance and low-profile inspection. The weather-resistant aluminium chassis measures 96.5 centimetres long, 50.8 centimetres wide and 26.7 centimetres high without its roll cage. Configuration-dependent weight averages 45.4 kilograms, and maximum ground speed is about 4.6 kilometres per hour.
Large tracks and rear stabiliser bars help the vehicle climb household stairs and negotiate obstacles. Camera options include forward and rear infrared views plus a removable pan-tilt-zoom unit with integrated lighting; two-way audio and multiple operator-control units are also available. Runtime reaches eight hours under the stated configuration. The Doberman remains teleoperated, with sensing, communications range and observation capability determined by the selected camera and radio package.
