TeraRanger Evo 60m

The Evo 60m uses a two-piece assembly: an optical sensing head clips onto an interchangeable interface backboard for USB or I²C/UART connections. This lets integrators select the electrical interface without adding an external protocol converter. The assembled module weighs 12 grams and operates from a five-volt supply.

Its infrared ranging works in darkness, but outdoor performance depends strongly on sunlight and target reflectivity. Terabee specifies an outdoor range of 10–60 metres and warns that bright sunlight on surfaces such as grass can reduce detection to 10 metres or less. Terabee discontinued the model and its interface variants in May 2024 when it withdrew its distance-sensor range.
