TeraRanger Tower Evo

TeraRanger Tower Evo is Terabee's legacy circular array for multi-directional time-of-flight distance sensing. It accepts four or eight TeraRanger Evo modules and samples each axis independently, giving mobile robots and drones rapid proximity measurements without constructing a conventional scanning-lidar point cloud. The 600 Hz and 60 m variants use different sensor modules and therefore keep their ranges and update rates separated.

The eight-sensor assembly weighs 135 g and is approximately 120 mm in diameter by 42 mm high. It exposes USB and UART interfaces, includes a Bosch BNO055 IMU and can drive external addressable LEDs for distance warnings. Terabee still hosts the user manual, but no longer lists Tower Evo in its current product offering; the profile therefore treats it as legacy rather than commercially current.
