HD40 series

About

About HD40 series

HD40 processes video onboard, combining electronic stabilization and scene tracking with position and orientation measurements from a camera-mounted inertial unit. It outputs compressed video and MISB metadata so a host system can retain geographic context alongside imagery. Integrators can use the onboard GPS receiver or supply position data from the aircraft.

XV and LVV serve different imaging needs: XV is visible-only, while LVV adds thermal coverage and a second visible camera. A retract accessory protects the payload during takeoff and landing and is controlled through Trillium's SkyLink interface.
