About Protector
Protector is a heavy remotely operated wheeled unmanned ground vehicle developed by Ukrainian Armor. The all-wheel-drive platform uses a 190 hp diesel engine, RunFlat tyres and long-range communications for logistics, casualty evacuation and configurable weapon, electronic-warfare or intelligence payloads.
Ukraine's Ministry of Defence authorized Protector for operational use in June 2025 with a stated base payload of up to 700 kg and range of up to 400 km. A later National Guard logistics configuration is reported at 1,480 kg payload and up to 4 tonnes towing. In August 2026 the Guard received the first 10 systems under a German-funded 100-unit order.
