Vayu One

Vayu One uses a transformer-based mobility model and passive visual sensing to navigate without lidar or a pre-mapped route. The vehicle is designed to move between store interiors, streets and the final delivery point, including unloading packages on a driveway or porch. Vayu specifies a carrying capacity of up to 100 pounds and travel below 20 miles per hour.

At its July 2024 launch, Vayu announced an agreement with an unnamed e-commerce customer for a planned 2,500-robot deployment. The vehicle’s architecture combines learned driving behaviour with a cargo-handling workflow, extending automation beyond road travel to the final movement of goods towards the recipient.
