VilPower

VilPower is a powered arm orthosis developed by Vilje Bionics for people with substantially reduced movement in one arm. The custom-fitted device supports the shoulder, elbow and hand as a connected system. Its assistance builds on the movement the wearer can still initiate, helping amplify small residual motions across everyday arm movements.

The orthosis is intended as a personal assistive device for use beyond a therapy session. A seat-mounted support carries the mechanism while the motorised joints assist the wearer's arm. Clinical selection, fitting and adjustment remain individual because the required support depends on the person's remaining function, range of movement and daily activities.
