WEOM Zoom Block Thermal Module

Workswell’s WEOM Zoom Block Thermal Module combines an uncooled 640-by-480-pixel LWIR microbolometer with motorised focus and a 35-to-105-millimetre continuous optical zoom lens. The detector covers the 8-to-14-micrometre band, offers sensitivity below 30 millikelvin in the higher-sensitivity configuration and narrows its horizontal field from 18 degrees to 5.9 degrees across the three-times optical zoom range.

Full-frame versions run at 60 hertz, with a nine-hertz export-oriented option also listed. The integrated block provides Gigabit Ethernet with Power over Ethernet, ONVIF support and an auxiliary connection carrying RS485 control, while the front lens is sealed to IP67. It delivers thermal video and camera control for a fixed installation or vehicle; target detection, tracking and physical response require the surrounding software and platform.
