YellowScan Navigator

About

About YellowScan Navigator

Navigator uses a green-wavelength laser to measure shallow water, shorelines and adjacent terrain during a single survey flight. Its returns distinguish the water surface from submerged ground, with achievable penetration varying with clarity, depth and local environmental conditions. An integrated GNSS-inertial unit supplies position and attitude data for georeferencing each measurement.

An optional camera adds visible imagery to the laser dataset, while YellowScan CloudStation supports calibration checks, trajectory processing and point-cloud generation. Survey teams use the payload for river channels, coastal erosion, reservoirs, flood modelling and nearshore infrastructure. The integrated package is designed to reduce field assembly and preserve a consistent relationship between scanner, navigation sensors and processing workflow.
