Oceanus12 is ZeroUSV’s 12 m autonomous surface vessel for persistent offshore missions. It combines 20–36 days of endurance, a 1,000 kg modular payload deck and 40-foot-container transport, and has demonstrated autonomous deployment of subsea gliders and smaller surface drones.
About
Oceanus12 is a 12-metre autonomous uncrewed surface vessel built for persistent blue-water missions. Its hybrid diesel-electric powertrain supports 20–36 days of endurance, while a 4.0 by 2.2 metre aft deck accepts mission payloads up to 1,000 kg and supplies up to 30 kW. The hull is designed for transport within a 40-foot ISO footprint and mobilisation in less than half a day.
The modular platform can carry survey, acoustic, sensing and deployable payloads for defence, maritime security, hydrographic, scientific and logistics work. In Plymouth trials it autonomously launched two Oshen C-Star surface drones under MarineAI’s GuardianAI autonomy layer, demonstrating a carrier role inside a coordinated multi-platform mission.
