About Genesis AI
Genesis AI develops general-purpose robots together with the models, hands and data infrastructure that control them. Its Eno robot combines a wheeled base, an articulated folding body and two arms with dexterous hands. The GENE foundation model connects visual observations, instructions and interaction data to multi-step manipulation, with demonstrations spanning cooking, laboratory pipetting and wire harnessing.
The company collects human interaction data through tactile gloves and video, and uses Genesis World to evaluate robot policies in simulation. The simulation platform includes its Nyx renderer and Quadrants compiler. Genesis AI operates across France and California and works with LG CNS on industrial validation and scale-up. Eno's planned initial customer rollout targets manufacturing, logistics and laboratory work, with production and targeted deployments scheduled to begin by the end of 2026.

Events
- 2026-10-12 - Market Signal - Genesis AI is named in NVIDIA’s planned French startup investments
The new planned investments also include healthcare platform Doctolib, materials-discovery startup Entalpic and planning software company Pigment. Genesis AI develops robotics foundation models alongside data collection, simulation and robot hardware. The company’s wider commitments across Europe totalled nearly $10 billion.
Source - 2026-06-16 - Partnership - Genesis AI and LG CNS partner to scale Eno
The initial work will evaluate manufacturing and logistics use cases at LG operations and LG CNS customers in the United States. A joint pilot will document workflows, collect data, perform post-training and validate a deployment playbook. The companies plan a later multi-phase rollout across LG affiliates and LG CNS customers in labour-intensive industries.
Source - 2026-06-16 - Product Launch - Genesis AI unveils Eno general-purpose robot
Eno is Genesis AI’s first general-purpose robot and is designed for tasks across factories, laboratories, hospitals and homes. The robot uses a wheeled base, a foldable tower and human-like hands rather than a full humanoid body with legs and a head. Genesis AI plans targeted customer deployments by the end of 2026, initially around logistics and manufacturing customers.
Source - 2026-05-27 - Product Launch - Genesis AI open-sources Genesis World 1.0 simulation platform
Genesis World 1.0 is an open-source simulation platform for robotics and physical AI, positioned as the second release in Genesis AI's full-stack suite. The release includes near-realtime performance with a penetration-free IPC solver, unified rigid and deformable physics, and contact-rich manipulation support across robots, hands and grippers. Genesis AI also open-sourced Quadrants, a GPU-accelerated computation layer forked from Taichi, and Nyx, a path-traced rendering engine for robotics simulation.

Damien Kieran joined Genesis AI as Head of Legal after senior legal and privacy roles at Tools for Humanity, X and Google. Pally Kumar joined as Head of Operations after manufacturing and operations roles at Cobot, Tesla, Amazon and Lyft. The appointments support Genesis AI as it scales data collection, manufacturing operations and work toward its first general-purpose robot.

Notes
Profile notes
- Genesis Hand 1.0 was developed for Genesis and manufactured with Wuji Tech
reviewed 2026-07-26 - Genesis introduced GENE-26.5 in May 2026 alongside what it described as its proprietary Genesis Hand 1.0. The launch initially caused conflicting interpretations of the hardware's origin after Wuji Tech appeared to identify the hands in Genesis's demonstrations as its own Wuji product.
