About
About CloudMinds
CloudMinds' HARIX development environment lets developers assemble robot skills graphically, combining voice, vision, navigation and motion-control functions. Applications can be debugged against digital twins before being released to supported physical robots, with simulation covering humanoids, six-axis arms and delivery platforms.
HARIX OS provides standard interfaces for external algorithms to access robot sensor data and state, and to return their results to the application. Multimodal orchestration combines inputs such as speech, visual events and touch with body movement, spoken responses and screen content. A skill-store model allows developers to distribute applications and users to add capabilities to compatible robots, alongside tools for imitation learning and reinforcement-learning experiments.

The Series B+ financing totalled CNY1 billion, approximately USD150 million at the time of the report. Shanghai Chengtou Group and Shanghai Guosheng Group jointly led the round. The financing followed CloudMinds' development of its cloud robot operating system, Smart Compliant Actuators and XR-1 robot family.
Source - 2020-02-05 - Deployment - CloudMinds ships 5G cloud robots to hospitals in Wuhan and Shanghai
The robots were sent to Wuhan Tongji Tianyou Hospital, Wuhan Union Hospital and Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital. They supported temperature measurement, disinfection, medicine delivery and remote care to reduce staff exposure. The deployment used China Mobile connectivity with CloudMinds' HARIX Cloud Brain and VBN robotic private network.

XR-1 combined Smart Compliant Actuators with the HARIX cloud platform for perception, language, motion control and grasping. The robot served beverages and coffee using flexible arms that detected and responded to contact forces. A precision demonstration coordinated 14 actuators to guide thread repeatedly through the eye of a needle.
