About Nidec
Nidec supplies motors, reducers, drives and controllers for robot joints, wheels and factory automation. Robotics products include brushless and frameless motors, servo modules, FLEXWAVE strain-wave reducers, KINEX cycloidal reducers, planetary gearboxes and integrated wheel drives.
FLEXWAVE provides compact, zero-backlash reduction for precision axes, while KINEX addresses higher-load joints in articulated and SCARA robots. Nidec combines these transmissions with motor, sensing and drive electronics for manipulators, service robots, AGVs and AMRs. Its group manufacturing network covers components from small precision motors through large industrial drives, allowing designs to move from customised modules into volume production.
