About Circus SE
Circus develops autonomous meal-production systems for commercial kitchens, institutional catering and defence sustainment. Its CA-1 platform automates ingredient handling, cooking and dispensing, while the Circus software layer manages recipes, operating workflows and fleet data.
The company is expanding from European deployments into the United Arab Emirates with Royal Prestige Food Contracts. Circus Pods provide a standardized refill and ingredient layer around the robot, while planned local Pod production in the UAE remains a forward-looking manufacturing step.

Events
- 2026-10-21 - Deployment - Circus reports more than 30 deployed systems across eight countries
Its robots have prepared more than 230,000 meals cumulatively. Mature-site uptime exceeded 93% in Q3, compared with 70% at the start of the year. The company targets more than 50 deployed systems by year-end and reports the start of CA-A volume production.
Source - 2026-09-22 - Deployment - Circus begins commercial CA-1 operations in the UAE
Royal Prestige produces more than three million meals annually for customers including the UAE Army, Royal Palace, ministries and ADNOC. Circus says CA-1 systems are operating with locally sourced inputs, while local production of Circus Pods is planned rather than already completed. Dubai is the next planned UAE market; the event records the Abu Dhabi commercial operating start, not the earlier certification milestone.
Source - 2026-08-28 - Product Launch - Circus launches Pods ingredient system across seven countries
Pods were live across seven European countries, including Ukraine, and served most active Circus customers and deployed robots at launch. Each Pod is scanned automatically, feeding operating data into Circus AI models while reducing manual preparation and handling by about 80%. Mandatory use across all Circus operating systems remained scheduled for the second half of 2026 rather than already completed.
Source - 2026-07-16 - Deployment - Circus begins live troop-supply operations with Ukraine’s Ground Forces
The deployment supports troop-supply workflows with Ukraine’s 3rd Army Corps. Circus described the programme as its first operational military use. The rollout follows a December 2025 agreement covering up to 25 systems and required regulatory certification.
