U.S. Army receives Griffon Aerospace Valiant aircraft system

  • The U.S. Army Program Executive Office Aviation received the Valiant uncrewed aircraft system from Griffon Aerospace.
  • The delivery followed technical, ground and flight acceptance trials.
  • The handover transferred ownership of the Valiant system to the U.S. Government under the DD-250 process.

Griffon Aerospace designs, manufactures and operates unmanned aircraft systems for defense and government customers, with a long-running aerial-target business and newer tactical UAS programs. Its systems include target drones, Valiant for the U.S. Army FTUAS program, and Arrowhead, a delta-wing UAS configurable for target or one-way-attack roles.
