About Pixee Medical
Pixee Medical develops augmented-reality navigation for orthopaedic surgery. Knee+ uses a headset to overlay alignment and instrument information in the surgeon's view during total knee arthroplasty, avoiding a large external navigation cart in the operating room.
The system combines patient registration, tracking and procedure software with reusable and disposable instrumentation. Knee+ has CE marking and U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance, and the NexSight generation advances the AR interface and workflow. Pixee supplies hospitals with equipment, training and support and is extending the navigation approach to additional orthopaedic procedures.
