About
About Squishy Robotics
Squishy Robotics builds impact-resistant sensor robots that can be dropped from drones, helicopters or fixed-wing aircraft into hazardous areas. A standard payload combines four-gas sensing for carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, lower explosive limit and oxygen with GPS and six cameras providing a 360-degree view.
Once deployed, multiple robots form their own mesh network and send persistent ground-level data without relying on communications infrastructure already present at the scene. The systems support public-safety response, military operations and industrial incident assessment by collecting situational information before personnel enter. The company states that the robots can withstand repeated deployments from heights up to 1,000 feet.
