About Luster
LUSTER combines machine-vision components with complete inspection equipment and imaging systems. Its hardware catalogue includes industrial and scientific cameras, lenses, lighting and frame grabbers, while its VisionWARE algorithm platform and application engineering turn those components into production-line quality-control systems.
Inspection programmes cover printing and packaging, glass, displays, consumer electronics, lithium batteries and photovoltaic manufacturing. LUSTER also develops structured-light 3D measurement for bin picking, dimensional inspection, surface analysis and reverse engineering, plus scientific imaging and motion-capture systems. A separate fibre-optics business supplies sensing, laser, communications and access-network technology.
