About The Robot Studio

The Robot Studio builds robots around functional human anatomy rather than rigid industrial kinematics. Tendons, springs and distributed motors create compliant joints that can absorb contact and adapt mechanically, while vision, tactile sensing, simulation and AI provide the perception and control layer.

The studio’s work ranges from anatomically detailed research humanoids to open hardware for developers. HOPE extends that programme into an open-source general-purpose humanoid, while DexHand and the Robot Nano Hand make dexterous mechanisms accessible to researchers and builders. The company also provides integration, custom hardware and robot-development support.
