About Donut Robotics
Donut Robotics' product development extends from customer-facing service machines to bipedal systems. Cinnamon Guide combines in-store patrol, customer assistance, translation and product-sales functions, while the earlier Cinnamon robot was introduced in facilities including airports and welfare settings. The company's work therefore includes interaction software and service delivery as well as its newer humanoid programme.
Cinnamon 1 incorporates a vision-language model, and Donut is developing its own vision-language-action technology to connect language understanding with physical behaviour. The company plans to provide a humanoid made entirely in Japan and has announced a forthcoming Cinnamon 2. These development plans sit alongside the existing Cinnamon products; they are not completed domestic-production milestones.
